Wuwei Feng is a tenured Professor of Neurology and Biomedical Engineering at Duke University School of Medicine, where he serves as Director of the Comprehensive Stroke Center and Chief of Stroke & Vascular Neurology. He holds an adjunct professorship at North Carolina State University (2021–2025) and is a faculty member of the Duke Institute for Brain Sciences.
His education includes an MD from Central South University (1996), residency in Neurology at Medical University of South Carolina (2006–2010), and vascular neurology fellowship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (2010–2011).
Research Interests focus on
- Developing imaging biomarkers for post-stroke motor outcomes
- Optimizing non-invasive brain stimulation tools (tDCS, vagus nerve stimulation, low-intensity ultrasound)
- Clinical trials for neuromodulation in stroke recovery
