Prof. Wout Dullaert is a Full Professor of Supply Chain Logistics at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, heading the Department of Operations Analytics within the School of Business and Economics. He holds a PhD from the University of Antwerp (2002) and has extensive experience in academia, including roles as assistant/associate professor there before joining VU Amsterdam. His research focuses on redesigning production/distribution systems, tactical/operational logistics, and sustainability strategies in supply chains. Notable contributions include work on circular economy, vehicle routing optimization, and sustainable inventory models.
