Wolfgang Sandberger

Wolfgang Sandberger (b. 1961) is a Professor of Musicology and Director of the Brahms-Institut at Musikhochschule Lübeck. Specializing in German music history from the 17th to 19th centuries, he focuses on composers like Brahms, Bach, and Handel, as well as music philology and reception history. He has secured over €1 million in grants from DFG and Schleswig-Holstein for digitization projects, advancing musicological research accessibility.
