Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Benner is a renowned academic in banking and finance, holding professorial roles at the University of Göttingen (1992-2006) and the University of Hamburg (1986-1992). He has extensive experience in academic leadership, including acting professorships at LMU Munich and the University of Bamberg. His research focuses on portfolio/risk management, banking systems, and behavioral/neuroscientific decision theory. He completed his habilitation in business administration (1980) and has authored influential works in financial modeling and currency markets.
