Wojciech Kaszuba

Wojciech Kaszuba is an Assistant Professor at the I.J. Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań, affiliated with the Institute of Composition and Music Theory. He serves as the head of the Electroacoustic Music Studio (since October 2024) and co-leads the Lambda Ensemble laptop orchestra—a collaboration with Adam Mickiewicz University. His academic journey includes a PhD from the same academy (2023) and postgraduate studies in Computer Science (Sound Production) from Poznań University of Technology and the School of Radio, Film and Television.

Kaszuba's research explores the intersection of traditional and digital music, focusing on electroacoustic composition, algorithmic music generation, and acoustic technology. He integrates computational methods with classical forms, emphasizing the role of sound engineering in contemporary music creation.

He received the Scholarship from the Minister of Culture and National Heritage during his early career as a cellist. His pedagogical approach has guided students to competition successes and advanced studies.

Kaszuba directs the artfonia.pl recording studio (since 2000), specializing in classical and contemporary music production for media, and oversees the Academy's Electroacoustic Music Studio.
