Wisdom Kwadwo Mprah

Prof. Wisdom Kwadwo Mprah is a Senior Lecturer at the Centre for Disability and Rehabilitation Studies (CEDRES), Department of Health Promotion and Disability Studies, School of Public Health, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi, Ghana. He currently serves as Head of Department.

Dr. Mprah's research focuses on Dusability Theory, advocacy and empowerment for persons with disabilities, education and sexual/reproductive health experiences of persons with disabilities, and disability inclusion in employment and politics. His work bridges public health, disability studies, and social policy.

As a reviewer for journals like the African Journal of Disability and International Journal of Inclusive Education, he contributes to advancing disability research. He is actively involved in the Ghana National Association of the Deaf and the Ghana Federation of Disability Organizations (GFD), where he served on the National Advocacy Committee and the Technical Committee to Review the Persons with Disability Act 715.
