Wing Lam

Wing Lam is an Assistant Professor at George Mason University's Department of Computer Science. His research focuses on Software Engineering, with an emphasis on Flaky Tests, Software Testing and Analysis, AI integration, and Dependability. He holds a PhD from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor's from the University of Washington. Lam has received prestigious awards including the 2024 GMU Research Rising Star Award and the ACM SIGSOFT Doctoral Dissertation Award for his work on flaky tests. His NSF-funded projects include CAREER initiatives to enhance software regression testing and a collaborative dataset for Android testing.
