Professor Wim Trengove is the longest-serving Visiting Professor at Rhodes University's Law Faculty, appointed in October 1998. Described as 'one of South Africa’s sharpest legal minds,' he has played pivotal roles in major legal cases, combining expertise in corporate, commercial, labour, and human rights law. His career includes acting as a judge in the High Court and Labour Court, and directing constitutional litigation at the Legal Resources Centre.
