William Zink serves as an Instructor in DePaul University's School of Accountancy & MIS, where he has been adjunct faculty since 2014. He teaches core courses in the Master of Science in Taxation Program including individual taxation, corporate taxation, partnership taxation, trusts and estates, tax accounting methods, and transfer pricing.
His academic credentials include:

Zink's research focuses on global tax systems and policy implementation, particularly OECD frameworks like the BEPS project. His expertise spans international tax compliance, value-added tax structures, and technical tax applications for corporations and partnerships. Current work emphasizes practical tax education through continuing professional development.
As a retired senior partner of Grant Thornton US LLP and executive director of Grant Thornton International Ltd., he previously led global tax risk management and technical services. He maintains active CPA licensure (Illinois) and professional memberships with the American Institute of CPAs and Illinois Society of CPAs.
