William W. Carroll

William W. Carroll, MD is an Associate Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) College of Medicine, affiliated with MUSC Children's Hospital since August 2020.

He completed his MD at MUSC in 2012, residency in Otolaryngology there, and pediatric otolaryngology fellowship at the University of Minnesota. Prior to MUSC, he served as attending pediatric otolaryngologist at the Medical College of Georgia for two years.

• Clinical focus on pediatric ear, nose, and throat care
• Specialized expertise in upper airway problems and speech/velopharyngeal disorders
• Board-certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology (2018)

Dr. Carroll has authored over 15 peer-reviewed papers and book chapters, with presentations at regional and national conferences. He played varsity soccer at Davidson College during his undergraduate studies.
