Professor William Holderbaum is a part-time Professor of Control Engineering at Manchester Metropolitan University. He holds a PhD in Automatic Control from the University of Lille and has held academic roles including Lecturer and Senior Lecturer at the University of Reading. His research focuses on control theory applications in health, energy, and robotics, with contributions to rehabilitation engineering, smart grids, autonomous systems, and wireless power transfer. He has published over 200 papers in leading journals and conferences.
