William Hamilton serves as Assistant Dean for Instruction and Innovation in the College of Nursing at Augusta University. He holds an academic appointment as Associate Professor in the Department of Nursing Practice and participates in the Graduate School’s Doctor of Nursing Practice and PhD programs. He also has joint appointments with the Medical College of Georgia and James M. Hull College of Business.

Dr. Hamilton has served as Faculty Senate BAUR Committee Chairperson and contributed to institutional effectiveness and telemedicine initiatives. He co-founded REACH Health, Inc., a telemedicine startup, and engages in professional service through Augusta West Rotary Club.
