William Hailiang Chen is a Lecturer at Norwich University of the Arts, teaching BA (Hons) and MArch Architecture programs. He is also Co-founder and Director of Creative Prototyping Unit, a multidisciplinary design studio with offices in London and Beijing. Chen holds a Research Fellowship at Southeast University's AS Research Centre, where he led postgraduate courses on sports facilities and urban regeneration. His educational background includes fine arts training at Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts and architectural studies at London's Architectural Association School of Architecture.
Chen's research explores the intersection of architecture, technology, and cultural consciousness. His work spans large-scale architectural projects like the London 2012 Olympic Stadium and Guangzhou IFC Tower, as well as experimental installations.
