William H. Bullock is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. With 38 years of professional and academic experience, he specializes in exposure science, industrial hygiene, and occupational risk assessment. Dr. Bullock currently serves as Principal Industrial Hygienist at Environmental & Industrial Hygiene Services and formerly directed industrial hygiene programs for CSX Transportation.
He holds a Doctor of Health Science from Nova Southeastern University, Master of Science in Public Health from Tulane, and Bachelor of Science from University of South Alabama.
His research focuses on exposure reconstruction for asbestos, diesel exhaust, and silica, utilizing statistical and Bayesian analysis methods. Work emphasizes practical risk assessment frameworks for occupational settings and crisis management during large-scale incidents.
Publications reflect expertise in historical exposure assessment, risk communication strategies, and industrial hygiene program development in transportation and manufacturing sectors.

Dr. Bullock teaches ENHS 6720 Principles of Industrial Hygiene and has held leadership roles including past chair of AIHA's Exposure Assessment Strategies Committee and editor of occupational exposure textbooks.
