William H Jr Kern is an associate professor of urban entomology in the Department of Entomology and Nematology at the University of Florida's Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences (UF/IFAS), based at the Fort Lauderdale Research and Education Center (FLREC) in Davie, Florida.
