معرفی
William FitzGerald is a Research Fellow at the University of Sussex, specializing in probability theory. His research focuses on coalescing/annihilating Brownian motions, random matrix theory, and the KPZ universality class. He completed his PhD under the supervision of Jon Warren, Roger Tribe, and Oleg Zaboronski.
Education:
- MSc in Mathematics and Statistics, University of Warwick (2016)
- MMath in Mathematics, University of Oxford (2015)
Research Interests: Probability theory with emphasis on stochastic processes, random matrix theory, and universality classes in statistical physics. His work bridges probabilistic methods with analytical techniques in mathematical physics.
Teaching: Taught courses including Brownian motion (MA4F7/ST403), Applied Stochastic Processes (ST333), and Introduction to Probability (ST115).
Professional Activities: Participated in key events such as the UK Easter Probability Meeting (2018), Brunel-Bielefeld Random Matrix Theory Workshops (2016-2018), and conferences on log-correlated fields and disordered environments.
