William Brian Dade

William Brian Dade is an Associate Professor of Earth Sciences at Dartmouth College’s College of Arts and Sciences. His research focuses on Earth surface processes, particularly the dynamics and deposits of rivers, gravity-driven flows (e.g., avalanches, volcanic eruptions), and marine systems. He investigates particle and contaminant transport, sedimentary records, geologic hazards, and the evolution of natural landscapes.
