Dr William Allchorn is a Senior Research Fellow at the International Policing and Public Protection Research Institute (IPPPRI), University of Essex. His work focuses on radical-right extremism, counter-terrorism policies, and the socio-political consequences of extremism. He advises governments globally on far-right threats and has authored influential books on anti-Islamic protests and counter-narrative strategies. Allchorn holds a PhD from the University of Leeds and supervises research in his areas of expertise.
