William A. Crossley is the Uhrig & Vournas Head of the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics and a Professor at Purdue University. He holds a B.S.E. from the University of Michigan (1990), and M.S. and Ph.D. from Arizona State University (1992 and 1995, respectively). His research focuses on optimization methods for aerospace systems, systems of systems, design under uncertainty, and the environmental impact of aviation.
