Willi Sauerbrei

Willi Sauerbrei is a Professor at the Institute of Medical Biometry and Statistics (IMBI) within the Medical Center - University of Freiburg, Germany. He has held this position since 2008 and has been affiliated with IMBI since 1986. His roles include leading the STRATOS initiative (since 2013), a global effort to strengthen analytical thinking in observational studies, and previously heading the Methodological Center for Clinical Trials until 2002. He earned a Diploma in Statistics from Dortmund University in 1983 and has contributed extensively to medical biostatistics.
