Willfried Nobel

Prof. Dr. Willfried Nobel is a faculty member at Hochschule für Wirtschaft und Umwelt Nürtingen-Geislingen (HfWU), serving as Professor of Ecology with a focus on Urban Ecology since 1993. He also holds administrative roles as Prorector for Research and Transfer since 2007 and Executive Director of the Institute for Landscape and Environment (ILU) since 2012. His academic career spans institutions like the University of Hohenheim and the Technical Inspection Association (TÜV) in Stuttgart/Süddeutschland.

• Education: Diplom-Agrarbiologe (1975) from Universität Tübingen and Hohenheim, with a doctorate in agricultural sciences (Dr. sc. agr., 1980) from Hohenheim.
