Willeke van der Werf

Dr. Willeke van der Werf serves as a Researcher in the Department of Development & Education of Youth in Diverse Societies within Utrecht University's Faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences. She actively contributes to the Dynamics of Youth (DoY) research initiative with specialization in early childhood development.

Her research spans critical domains of youth development in multicultural contexts:

• Youth Development frameworks across diverse societal settings
• Early Childhood Education methodologies and interventions
• Pedagogical approaches for inclusive learning environments
• Social Behavioral Sciences applications in educational policy

Current professional engagements include research collaboration with Nuffic/Erasmus+ on international education projects and thesis supervision at TIAS (Tilburg University/Eindhoven University of Technology business school). Her work schedule reflects full-time academic involvement Monday through Friday during both morning and afternoon hours.
