Will Venters

Dr Will Venters is an Associate Professor of Information Systems and Digital Innovation at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), Department of Management. His research focuses on cloud computing, digital ecosystems, and agile innovation approaches, with notable contributions to understanding grid technologies in particle physics (CERN), healthcare IT systems, and sustainable construction knowledge management. He advises governments and corporations on digital transformation, having led projects like Pegasus (Grid usability study) and C-SanD (sustainable construction).

Research Interests: Cloud computing adoption, digital platforms, API ecosystems, sociotechnical systems, healthcare informatics, and organizational coordination in distributed work. His work bridges theory and practice, emphasizing real-world implementation challenges.

Grants & Projects: EPSRC grants for GridPP usability (2006-2010), NHS electronic prescription evaluation (2008), and physical sciences information practices (2010-2011). Collaborations include TWIST (financial services standards) and Huawei HIRP (digital innovation platforms).
