Will Crescioni is a Lecturer and Director of Undergraduate and Online Studies in the Department of Psychological Sciences at Texas Tech University. He earned a B.S. in Psychology and Philosophy from Louisiana State University and a Ph.D. in Social Psychology from Florida State University.
His research focuses on human agency, including self-control and belief in free will. Key areas include perceptions of moral responsibility, meaning in life, and the societal implications of free will beliefs. His work spans experimental social psychology and interdisciplinary topics like ethics and health behavior.
Selected publications address topics such as free will's impact on judgments, self-control's role in health behaviors, and social rejection's effects on empathy and aggression. Crescioni teaches courses in general psychology, statistical methods, and research methods.
