Wilhelm Hasselbring is a Professor of Software Engineering at the School of Electronics and Computer Science, University of Southampton. His research focuses on software system quality, architecture design, software visualization, component-based development, and cloud/grid middleware. He leads projects in digital twin prototypes, microservices, and DevOps for continuous software engineering. His work addresses challenges in embedded systems, smart farming automation, and scalable cloud-native applications. He collaborates on tools for collaborative code visualization and low-overhead monitoring.
Research Interests: Software reliability, distributed systems, enterprise integration, and software engineering methodologies.
