Professor Wiesław Laskowski is affiliated with the University of Gdańsk, where he serves as a Professor at the Institute of Theoretical Physics and Astrophysics within the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics. Additionally, he holds the administrative role of Vice-Rector for Research in the Central Administration. His research focuses on quantum optics and quantum information, contributing to theoretical physics and astrophysics. He is also involved with the International Centre for Theory of Quantum Technologies.
