Dr. Wesley Sims is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics at Morehouse College's School of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. His interdisciplinary work bridges applied physics, engineering, and biomedical research.

Dr. Sims specializes in optics and materials science, focusing on:
- Cross-phase optics
- Micro/nano optics fabrication
- Optical quadrature microscopy
- Extreme ultraviolet lithography
- Terahertz imaging
- Nanostructure characterization
His work includes laser applications for interferometric lithography of diffractive materials and fabrication of plasmonic nanostructures, particularly for phase change materials (PCM) in switchable photonic devices.
