Wenzhao Wu

Wenzhao Wu is a researcher affiliated with the National Supercomputing Center in Wuxi. He is a key member of the 14-person team that won the 2021 ACM Gordon Bell Prize for pioneering work in closing the 'quantum supremacy' gap through real-time simulation of random quantum circuits (RQCs) using the Sunway Supercomputer.

His research interests include quantum computing, high-performance computing, and parallel computing, focusing on classical simulation of quantum systems. The team's breakthrough achieved a 1.2 Eflops single-precision performance, reducing a 10,000-year simulation to 304 seconds.
