Wenzel Friedemann

Prof. Wenzel Friedemann is a Full Professor of Geophysics and Director of the Geophysical Institute at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) since 1994. His expertise spans seismic early warning systems, hazard assessment methodologies, and risk management in urban environments. He coordinates the Center for Disaster Management and Risk Reduction Technology (CEDIM).
