Wenyi Xia is an Associate Professor at the Department of Logistics and Operations Management, HEC Montréal, and a member of CIRRELT (Interuniversity Research Centre on Enterprise Networks, Logistics and Transportation). She holds a PhD and MSc in Business Administration from the University of British Columbia's Sauder School of Business.
Her research focuses on transportation data analytics, operations management, and infrastructure resilience. Key areas include passenger behavior modeling, climate change adaptation strategies for ports, and intermodal transportation systems. She has published in journals like Transportation Research Part A/B/D.
