Prof. Wenjuan Sun is a faculty member in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at KU Leuven, affiliated with the Faculty of Engineering Technology. She serves as a member of the Council of the Faculty of Engineering Technology and leads the Manufacturing Processes and Systems (MaPS) group at Group T Leuven Campus.

Recent publications demonstrate expertise in XCT-based battery diagnostics, AM surface characterization, and fast imaging protocols. She actively develops reference standards for metrology equipment validation.
