Dr. Wendy Stienstra is an Associate Professor in the Department of Education at The King's University. She holds a PhD in Educational Studies from Lakehead University, an MEd in Educational Administration, and a BA in Mathematics. Her research focuses on mathematical understanding and teaching strategies, particularly in pre-service teacher education. She has extensive experience teaching high school mathematics and has worked with diverse student populations, including adults with developmental disabilities. Dr. Stienstra emphasizes the development of pedagogical content knowledge in future educators.
