As a Walker Institute Associate, she engages in interdisciplinary climate research.
Her research integrates multi-proxy environmental data, ancient DNA, and micromorphological analysis to explore human-environment dynamics. Key themes include Neolithic transitions, ancient human-animal interactions, and resilience to environmental changes. Collaborations span archaeology, geography, and genetics, with projects in Iraq, Iran, and Anatolia.
Publications highlight innovative methodologies (e.g., dung microfossil analysis) and interdisciplinary approaches. Her work bridges prehistoric and modern sustainability challenges, with implications for understanding long-term human adaptation.
