Wendy Liu

Wendy Liu, MD, PhD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pathology at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. She holds dual roles as a physician at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center and a faculty member. Her expertise spans anatomic and clinical pathology, with a focus on gastrointestinal and soft tissue tumors. Dr. Liu obtained her medical degree from Beijing Medical University (1990) and a PhD from the University of Virginia. She completed residency training in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation before joining University Hospitals Case Medical Center in 2004.

Her research investigates molecular mechanisms underlying gastrointestinal tumors and soft tissue tumors.
