Wendy Cooper

Professor Wendy Cooper is a Clinical Professor at the University of Sydney and a Conjoint Professor at the University of Western Sydney. She serves as a Senior Staff Specialist in Tissue Pathology and Diagnostic Oncology at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and leads the Anatomical Pathology Clinical Stream for NSW Health Pathology.

• Education: Graduated from the University of Sydney with First Class Honours in Medicine (1998) and a Bachelor of Science (Med) with First Class Honours (1996). Completed a PhD titled "Molecular markers of prognosis in early stage non-small cell lung cancer" (2008), earning the Peter Bancroft Prize.

Research Focus: Specializes in lung cancer, molecular pathology, and haematopathology. Key contributions include prognostic/predictive biomarkers in lung cancer and idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis.
