Wendy Cheesman

Wendy Cheesman is an Assistant Professor of Instruction at Temple University's College of Public Health, where she serves as Undergraduate Program Director for Health and Rehabilitation Sciences. With 22 years of experience as an educator and clinical preceptor in CAATE-approved athletic training curricula, she has developed courses in pharmacology, medical terminology, and clinical assessment.

Her research interests include LGBTQ+ health across the lifespan, holistic practices in healthcare, and cultural competency training for medical services serving marginalized populations. She previously coordinated Alder Health Services' Family Planning/Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program, focusing on grant development and gender-inclusive screening protocols.
