Wendy Chase

Wendy Chase is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Speech-Language Pathology at Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions (RMUOHP). She serves as Program Director for the Master of Science in Medical Speech Language Pathology (MS MedSLP) program and joined RMUOHP in July 2017 as Clinic Director.

• Education: BS from Central Michigan University, MA from Northwestern University

Her clinical expertise spans 29 years, focusing on dysphagia (swallowing disorders), inter-professional education, and voice treatment for transgender/gender fluid clients. She emphasizes critical thinking and evidence-based practice in clinical education.

Ms. Chase previously directed clinical education at the University of Connecticut, where she specialized in swallowing assessments for ventilator-dependent patients and advanced communication strategies through interdisciplinary collaboration.
