Wendy Ashley

Wendy Ashley is a Professor and Chair of the Department of Social Work at California State University, Northridge (CSUN), where she has served since Fall 2008. She holds a Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology (2006, Ryokan College), an M.S.W. (1995, University of Southern California), and a B.A. (1993, University of California Riverside).

She has contributed to antiracist training and consultation for community agencies and advocates for unconventional, culturally relevant pedagogical approaches. Notably, her department and colleagues provided significant support during her health crisis, reflecting her commitment to collaborative and empathetic practice.
