Wenbin Cao is an Associate Professor of Finance at NEOMA Business School, specializing in corporate finance, structural modeling, and financial econometrics. He holds a Ph.D. from the Price College of Business at the University of Oklahoma (2016). He currently leads the MSC Financial Markets and Technologies program and teaches courses in data analytics, managerial economics, and operational risk.
His research focuses on corporate finance dynamics, capital structure optimization, and the impact of societal factors on financial markets. Notable contributions include studies on bankruptcy prediction through financial statement analysis, the role of societal trust in information timeliness, and the effects of bureaucracy on capital allocation efficiency. His work has been published in prestigious journals such as the Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control and presented at top conferences like the China International Conference in Finance.
