Wen-mei W. Hwu

Wen-mei W. Hwu is a Professor and the Sanders-AMD Endowed Chair in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He serves as Chief Scientist of the Parallel Computing Institute, co-founder and CTO of MulticoreWare, and a Principal Investigator (PI) for the NSF Blue Waters Petascale project. His work bridges academia and industry through research and technological innovation.
