Wen Lin is an Assistant Professor in Accounting at Central University of Finance and Economics, China. Her research focuses on empirical analysis of financial reporting standards (particularly IFRS 9) and their impact on financial institutions and capital markets, as well as mandatory/voluntary disclosure practices by firms.
- PhD in Accounting and Finance from Lancaster University Management School
- Supervised by Prof. Grzegorz Pawlina and Dr. Argyro Panareto
Her work has been published in the Review of Accounting Studies, examining credit risk through debt valuation adjustments. She has received multiple research grants including LUMS Doctoral Studentship (2015-2018), LUMS Conference Grants (2016, 2017, 2019), and 2021 LUMS Pump Prize for her research on financial analysts' role in monetary policy transmission.
She actively participates in academic conferences including American Accounting Association annual meetings and European Accounting Association congresses, and maintains affiliations with Lancaster University's Accounting and Finance department.
