Dr. Wayne Thomas is a Senior Lecturer in Economics at Swansea University's School of Social Sciences, part of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. He joined Swansea in 2019, having previously taught at the University of Bristol (1996-1998), University of British Columbia (1990-1996), and University of the West of England (1998-2019). His academic career includes roles as a Research Associate at the Institute for Employment Research (Warwick, 1988-1990) and a chef/owner of a vegetarian restaurant (2007-2017).
