Warwick McKibbin

Warwick McKibbin is a Distinguished Professor of Economics and Public Policy at the Australian National University (ANU), leading the Centre for Applied Macroeconomic Analysis (CAMA) and serving as ANU Node Leader of the ARC Centre of Excellence in Population Ageing Research (CEPAR). He holds additional roles as a non-resident Senior Fellow at the Peterson Institute for International Economics and Fellowships in prominent academic societies. McKibbin has advised international institutions, central banks, and governments globally, focusing on macroeconomic modeling, climate policy, and pandemic economics.

Education: PhD (Harvard), AM (Harvard), BComm (Hons 1) (UNSW). Research interests include global economic modeling, climate change, monetary policy, pandemics (including COVID-19), and demographic shifts.
