Dr. Warren Johnson is a Professor of Christian Ministry at East Texas Baptist University's School of Christian Studies and Humanities, joining the faculty in 2005. He holds a Master of Divinity (1994) and Ph.D. (1998) from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, where his doctoral research focused on the sociological context of the Epistle to the Hebrews.
His research centers on New Testament studies, particularly early Christian communities, ecclesiology, and ancient manuscripts of the Pauline Epistles. He has published works such as Going Outside the Camp and contributed chapters to Essays on Revelation, including 'Urban Persons' and 'Confronting the Beast,' alongside entries in Bible dictionaries.
