Walter Gostner

Walter Gostner is a Lecturer in the Civil Engineering department at the École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), affiliated with the School of Architecture, Civil and Environmental Engineering (ENAC).

His teaching focuses on River eco-morphodynamics and bioengineering, exploring interactions between hydraulics, sediment transport, and aquatic habitat morphology. He applies regime theory to assess stream habitat quality and addresses eco-morphological processes in watercourse systems.
