Walid Mawass is a Postdoctoral Research Associate and Affiliated Faculty member in the Masel Lab at the University of Arizona. His research focuses on evolutionary genetics of complex traits, genetic variation under selection, and population genetic modeling of mutation load problems. He holds a Ph.D. in Cellular & Molecular Biology (Evolutionary Genetics) from the University of Québec at Trois-Rivières, with a postdoc under Joanna Masel.
