W. Jean J. Kwon

W. Jean J. Kwon, Ph.D., is the Edwin A.G. Manton Endowed Chair Professor in International Insurance and Risk Management at the Greenberg School of Risk Management (GSRM), part of St. John’s University’s Peter J. Tobin College of Business. He contributes to the Center for the Study of Insurance Regulation and serves as editor-in-chief of the Asia-Pacific Journal of Risk and Insurance. His expertise spans insurance regulation, insurer financial analysis, and emerging risk management strategies. Before academia, he held roles as an insurance regulator at the Monetary Authority of Singapore and industry specialist with The Institutes (US).
