Víctor Ponce López

Víctor Ponce López is a Senior Research Fellow in AI for Health at University College London's Department of Medical Physics and Biomedical Engineering and Research Department of Pathology. He holds affiliations at UCL Energy Institute's IslandsLab group, the European Laboratory for Learning and Intelligent Systems (ELLIS), and the University of Bristol's Department of Computer Science as an Honorary Research Associate. His research focuses on AI applications in healthcare, disaster response, and social computing, leveraging machine learning, computer vision, and deep learning. He has authored over 30 publications, including work on medical AI, disaster behavior analysis, and gesture recognition.
