Volodymyr Bobkov

Dr. Volodymyr Bobkov is a Researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Plasma Physics (IPP) in Garching, Germany, specializing in fusion energy research with primary responsibilities in tokamak scenario development and ion cyclotron resonance heating systems for the ASDEX Upgrade (AUG) device.

His core research focuses on advancing magnetic confinement fusion through:

• Optimization of tokamak operational scenarios
• Development of ion cyclotron resonance heating (ICRH) techniques
• Plasma heating and stability control for fusion reactors
