Vladislav Mladenov is a PostDoc at Ruhr University Bochum (Faculty of Computer Science), affiliated with the Chair for Network and Data Security. He serves as Project Coordinator for the North Rhine-Westphalian Experts on Research in Digitalization (NERD II) and an Associated Principal Investigator at the Cluster of Excellence CASA (Cyber Security in the Age of Large-Scale Adversaries).

Scientific Contributions include analyses of PDF document security, 3D printing protocols, and Single Sign-On implementations. He has contributed to international standards via ISO/DIN working groups and the PDF Association.
